Ingredients

  • Butter to taste
  • Steak, moving from Rump add two minutes, Sirlion add one minute and fillet as is….
  • Concentrating only on the steak

Directions

  • Preheat a cast iron griddle, the steak gets oiled not the pan.
  • Heat the pan medium for 5 minutes, you will need to just learn your hob, gas / electric etc but medium for 5 minutes I have found pretty reasonable.
  • To get the griddle lines two minutes either side, so 2 turn, 2 turn, 2 turn and 2 tuen.
  • That for me is normally medium for Sirlion. If you are doing rump go 3, Fillet 1.5.
