Beer Can Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 Chicken
  • 1 Can of Beer
  • Butter
  • Herbs or rubs of choice, Rosemary works in summer or Tandoori in winter
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Smoking chips
  • Bluetooth BBQ Temperature Measure

Directions

  • Setup the Egg for indirect cooking using the convEGGtor
  • Preheat EGG BBQ to 150˚C.
  • Season the chicken with your favourite rub
  • Put butter under the skin and Rosemary if using
  • Place the onto the Beer and a stand if using but the beer should be fine
  • Smoke at this temperature until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 75c, the BBQ bluetooth thermometer will let you know when it is done so just keep an eye on the temperature of the EGG.
